Job Summary: The purpose of this role is to lead the Quality function for our deodorant business globally. You will be responsible for leading quality systems, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations, driving product safety and quality standards across all markets and implementing best practice quality management processes. This role reports into the Global Deodorant Category Lead.
Responsibilities:
• Establishing global governance structures for quality and regulatory affairs
• Ensure compliance with local, regional and global policies, procedures and regulations in relation to product safety, quality and claims
• Driving implementation of global quality initiatives across the Deodorant portfolio
• Managing relationships with key internal stakeholders such as R&D, Regulatory Affairs, Sustainability and Consumer Safety
• Providing leadership on quality issues at senior management level
• Building a culture of continuous improvement within the team and wider organisation
• Maintaining knowledge of emerging trends in quality assurance and their relevance to the business
• Actively participating in quality networks both internally and externally to benchmark best practices
Qualifications:
• At least 10 years’ experience in quality assurance roles ideally gained within FMCG or Personal Care sector
• Experience managing teams of Quality professionals
• Excellent communication skills and ability to present complex information clearly and concisely
• Demonstrated strategic thinking and planning skills
• Proven ability to drive change through innovation and best practice sharing
• Strong project management skills and experience working cross-functionally
• Track record of delivering results under pressure in a fast moving environment
• Knowledge of risk management methodologies and tools
• Fluency in English language required; additional languages are a plus
