WHAT WILL YOUR MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES BE?
STRATEGY INTO ACTION
Lead the translation of (global) category- & brand strategy for Vaseline (main focus for 2025: launching our Big Bet Vaseline Gluta-Hya), Dove and Shea Moisture
Champion market knowledge and feed this in everyday meetings/discussions.
INNOVATION & RENOVATION
Delivery of innovation and renovation projects OTIF through collaborating with cross functional teams and as line manager to the Jr Brand Manager Innovations and owning the governance of these projects towards the Business Group.
Lead the execution of innovations for Vaseline, Dove and Shea Moisture
Contribute early in innovation process to maximize global innovation in EU.
BRAND MARKETING PLAN
Development of marketing, media- & category plans that seizes opportunities on all 6P (proposition, product, promotion, pack, price, place)
Drive marketing activities focused on Consumer Demand Creation for big bet innovation launches, using consumer and social insights and data to drive content development, influencer marketing, community engagement, PR, strategic partnerships, media amplification and the planning and execution of in-market experiential events.
Champion competitive behavior & -mindset throughout the business and translate it into marketing activities to grow brand share.
Manage the relationship with key agency partners by providing clear and insightful briefs and keep them accountable to deliver quality against KPI’s and timings for innovation launches.
Work closely together with the CSP & CDB team in delivering category promotional plan set-up & -implementation.
Create Point of Sale materials for Skin Care and Shea Moisture
P&L MANAGEMENT
Drive in year & long-term business performance
Create opportunities for better ROI of BMI spend to deliver ZBB targets and good management of budgets within agreed targets.
SKILLS YOU SHOULD HAVE
Brand Building & Storytelling: Skill in crafting compelling brand narratives, developing engaging content, and creating consistent brand experiences that resonate with target audiences.
Financial Acumen: Ability to develop business cases and judge whether they delivery on business and marketing objectives.
Creative Judgement: Able to judge creative work for delivery on brief and effectiveness
Strategic Judgement: Able to judge and advice decisions, especially when calls need to be made between quality of delivery, timings and costs.
Agency Management: Managing relationship with and delivery on brief of key agency partners.
