Reports to: Head of Inhome channel for Poland

If you are in the Unilever Ice Cream business or consider choosing to work for the Unilever Ice Cream business, you will work for the Global, leading Ice Cream player with €7.9bn turnover in 2023. The Ice Cream business is operating in a highly attractive category, as we are part of the 1 trillion snacking and refreshment industry, growing consistently at high pace. We have strong brands equities: 5 of top 10 selling brands including Wall’s, Magnum, Ben &Jerry’s. We are investing to unlock the full growth potential of Ice Cream as a standalone entity, once we separate from Unilever, which is planned to happen by November 2025.

JOB PURPOSE:

Inhome channel manager position is an externally focused role, leading Ice-cream business with a Key Inhome Customer. The leader is responsible for developing strong working relationships with senior customer contacts, to develop and deliver customer strategies, taking overall accountability for financial performance within the customer area.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Key Customer Management: implement strategies to achieve competitive sales growth. Play as a key contact person for partners at customer level.
  • Strategic Planning and Execution: create & implement winning strategy at customer level, reach financials goals set for the customer, supervise and own the execution KPIs.
  • Stakeholder Management: serve as the key commercial contact for the global ice cream organization. Maintain high-level relationships through personal contact and events.
  • Financial and Resource Management: Proven management of capital expenditures (capex) and P&L.
  • Team member of Inhome leadership team in Poland.
  • Providing guidance and recommendation for general business agenda where necessary. Cooperate with other functions: finance / planning / CSP on operational level.

WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED:

SKILLS:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong and proven negotiation skills.
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
  • Stakeholder skills including working in an international business environment.
  • Entrepreneurial and innovative mindset with a focus on continuous improvement.
  • Proficiency in relevant software and technology tools.
  • Knowledge of Polish language is required.

EXPERIENCES & QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Over 5 years of relevant work experience in strategy and category development.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Significant IH customer management experience, direct experience with key IC IH customers (Zabka, Biedronka, Stokrotka, Dino) would be additional benefit.
  • University degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Excellent strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to build and maintain high-level relationships.
