General objective of the job Drive best-in-class demand planning processes, tools, and capabilities to ensure accurate forecasting, improved service levels, and optimized inventory across the organization. This role focuses on driving the adoption of Machine Learning-based forecasting technology, building excellence frameworks, enabling continuous improvement, and partnering with cross-functional teams to deliver superior demand planning performance. Responsibilities Process & Capability Development • Design and implement standardized demand planning processes aligned with global and regional best practices. • Develop and maintain S&OP governance for forecast accuracy and bias reduction, while also chartering a clear, realistic pathway to achieving business ambitions. • Translating national forecasts to regional-based forecasts, ensuring a seamless product distribution and supporting proper capacity planning across different warehouses in Indonesia Technology Adoption • Lead enhancements and adoption of demand planning technologies (e.g., Anaplan, Kinaxis), as well as solving any errors/incidents • Ensure data integrity and automation to improve efficiency and reduce manual interventions Continuous Improvement & Training • Identify opportunities for process improvement and lead implementation of best practices. • Develop training programs to build demand planning capability across teams. Performance Management • Monitor KPIs across all categories (including but not limited to Forecast Accuracy, Forecast Bias, Volume Value Disconnect) • Conduct root cause analysis and drive corrective actions for forecast deviations. Requirements • Bachelor’s degree in supply chain/engineering, business/finance, information systems/data science or related field. • Prior 2+ years’ experience in demand planning or forecasting is an advantage but not mandatory. However, you must be comfortable in learning and adopting new forecasting technologies, understanding how they work, identifying any shortfalls and errors, as well as constantly finding ways to improve. • Prior knowledge of planning systems (Kinaxis, Anaplan, or equivalent) is an advantage. • Analytical and problem-solving mindset with proficiency in Excel is a must. Additional proficiency in Python and/or Power BI will be highly beneficial. • Excellent communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills. • Ability to lead change and drive process improvement initiatives.
