Background & Purpose of the Job
The Safety Health and Environmental (SHE) Supervisor has responsibility for supporting and implementing Occupational Safety to achieve excellence on Sites. You will work with Supply Chain teams to implement SHE Strategy and improvement plans to achieve sustainable SHE excellence by reducing injuries expressed in TRFR and increase Safety Culture.
Who You Are & What You’ll Do
- Support the SHE Manager and team with implementing of effective policies, guidelines and procedures to ensure that the department objectives are met.
- Support deploying the global / regional SHE strategy, policy and standards in sites to achieve excellent sustainable results.
- Following-up the SHE performance indicators and reporting regular monthly and quarterly internal and external reports on time.
- Supporting and guide functions to implement SHE requirements.
- Developing, deploying & implementing plans to improve driving safety and occupational safety records of the sites.
- Monitoring and driving safety activities of the factory.
- Ensure training, toolbox meetings, and drills are implemented as part of the company’s training and safety program, i.e. emergency response systems, etc.
- Driving safety risk assessment to work with sites to develop and implement improvement action plans.
- Working with regulatory bodies on ensuring the factory meet all local, national, legal and Unilever standards on Occupational Health, Safety and Environment.
- Supports department/plant budget alignment and attainment.
- Supporting the preparation of safety incident reports, conduct incident investigations and root cause analysis to define and implement corrective actions.
- Increase SHE awareness among the employees using all visual, written and verbal communication channels.
- Supporting maintaining full compliance with all SHE Unilever framework standards and Legal requirements.
- Participating in external and internal audits, coordinating necessary activities, and informing relevant people in the organization.
- Control all major risks ensuring there are plans and actions to mitigate impact in cases of accidents.
- Deploying internal SHE audits and inspection systems to ensure compliance of processes and systems.
- Performing trend analyses for accidents / incidents.
- Determining training needs and assist in delivery of training programs.

What You’ll Need To Succeed
- Minimum of 4+ years of manufacturing experience .
- 2+ years of supervisory experience required.
- Factory/industrial EHS experience required.
- Ability to lead teams.
- Proficient in Excel.
- Communication Skills.
- Good observation and Auditing skills.
PREFERRED
- Machinery and/or Process Safety Knowledge.
- 3rd party Audit Experience.

Pay: The pay range for this position is $84,400 to $126,600. Unilever takes into consideration a wide range of factors that are utilized in making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, qualifications and education, and other business and organizational needs.
Bonus: This position is bonus eligible.
Long-Term Incentive (LTI): This position is LTI eligible.
