PURPOSE OF THE ROLE
Team HR IT supports the global convergence agenda, delivering efficiencies & complexity reduction, continuously improving the available process & technology solutions and ensuring internal and external benchmarking. They are the functional experts who will deliver integrated process & technology design, satisfying business needs, and ensuring compliance with the overarching process and service strategy.
The JML & Hubs Technology Delivery Manager will enable and support business solutions across the entire employee lifecycle (Joiner, Mover, Leaver) across HCM (Human Capital Management) (Primarily Workday, Service Now and Una) with a core focus on business enablement, solution design, technical architecture, integrations, support and stability of the Workday platform including tech administration.
This role designs applications required to automate business processes and meet business needs. The resulting design may run on Workday or associated systems as a packaged solution. The role is also responsible for the functional interface to other applications and for ensuring product adoption and usability. Also, influences the functional strategy and policy making.
WHAT WILL YOUR MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES BE
Drive Continuous Innovations: Partner with Global Process Office to drive and consult on key business initiatives, enabled through new or existing functionality. Review functionality delivered in Workday releases related to HCM to assess business impacts and opportunities for enhancements.
Manage Services: Manage the team supporting Tech ops including incident management, service, problem management and change requests.
Platform Continuous Improvements: Continuously improve HCM systems and its relevant processes by leveraging innovative and latest technology development through new implementation and enhancements to existing systems.
Configure business process change, maintain domain security
Manage and maintain additional HR IT systems that includes managing master data configs in Workday. This entails providing level 2 & 3 support, working with IT and the application providers on functionality enhancements, testing and configuring changes, and communication to users
Maintains partnership with relevant stakeholders including HR Leadership, HR Business Partners, Information Technology counterparts and Vendors.
Provide ad hoc and/or structured training to HR colleagues on HR systems
Support M&A and Divestitures workers in Workday and related requirements
EXPERIENCES & QUALIFICATIONS
Necessary Experience & Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Management of Information Systems, or equivalent
Certification is required
Experience with Workday cloud enterprise applications including Cloud Development platform
Strong knowledge of and extensive experience working with the following Workday modules - Core HCM.
Extensive understanding of the end to end functional HR business processes including audit requirements and processes
Deep knowledge of Workday's Business Process Framework and Security with core HCM, Staffing BP, Recruitment and Alerts
Proficient in configuring Core HCM/Recruitment and creating workflows
Demonstrate the ability to manage multiple priorities, troubleshoot and resolve system-related issues, and have excellent communication skills
Manage the functional project delivery supporting various project initiative,
Must be well versed with Inbound & Outbound EIB's.
Preferred Experience & Qualifications
Familiar with integration applications such as Mulesoft a plus
Self-starter, self-motivated, able to work independently, prioritize effectively, and perform multiple tasks under minimal supervision
Ability to influence key stakeholders and collaborate with cross-functional teams
Ability to plan workday project implementation and change management
Workday Certified HCM
Minimum 6-9 years of experience in Workday HCM and Recruitment
Good Knowledge on Reporting, Security and Integrations
People Management / global stakeholder management/ Vendor management experience would be preferable
Ability to work collaboratively with multiple departments across geographies
High business ethics and personal integrity (handling of confidential information)
Professional knowledge of HR as operations and Understand organizational resources, priorities, needs and policies, and objectives in leading edge or critical situations.
Communication/Negotiation: Strong communication (both written and oral). Teamwork and Guide other professionals. Adapt communications and approaches to conclude negotiations with various partners, resulting in common agreements.
Problem Solving: Analyze complex/new situations, anticipate potential problems and future trends, assess opportunities, impacts, and risks. Develop and implement solutions.
Contribution/Leadership: Leads multi-functional teams, or conducts special projects or manages service partners. Recognized as an expert in their field.
Impact on Business/Scope: Accountable for projects or programs involving multi- functional, country-wide or regional teams.
