JOB PURPOSE

The overall purpose of this role is the day-to-day operational service delivery delivered for a portfolio of International Assignees in Unilever’s global mobility program ensuring the program fully supports Unilever’s talent acquisition and talent management initiativeThis role is responsible for ensuring a high level of service with a key focus on Employee Experience, regional program compliance, and ensuring the program meets the needs of our regional and global businesses and stakeholders.

WHAT WILL YOUR MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES BE

The Global Mobility People Partner has the following accountabilities: 

  • All aspects of the assignee experience, managing the end-to-end process with internal and external vendors.

  • Manage moves across a variety of policy types including Long Term International Assignees, Short Term Assignees, Permanent Transfers and Commuters.

  • Build close relationships with numerous stakeholders, multi-tasking and maintaining a tight control of day to day service operations.

  • Be the Subject Matter Expert for your in-country stakeholders and pillars/business functions. 

  • Have a good understanding of local employment law, immigration, personal tax, social security, payroll compliance and vendor management.

  • Create and maintain assignee and process documentation. 

  • Responsible for payroll instructions and compliance.  

  • Drive local consistency with global processes, with a strong focus on data integrity and compliance.

  • Work in collaboration with your colleagues on a day to day operational level, prioritise and resolve problems, participate in presentation and capability building sessions as required.

  • Advising assignees on GM policies, application of policies, cross border compliance issues and relocation matters

  • Responsible for overall client and user satisfaction for the population of individuals within their portfolio, ensuring that the GM service delivery meets key metrics

  • Responsible for ensuring that all services provided to assignees within their portfolio is efficient and transparent

  • Great knowledge on reward principles and main concepts (payscales, mobility allowances, shares and others)

  • Able to work effectively in a virtual team environment and have strong organisational and project management skills

WHAT YOU WILL NEED TO SUCCEED

Experiences & Qualifications

  • University Graduate;

  • Experience in mobility (preferably FMCG experience);

  • Good proficiency in transforming and analysing HR Information;

  • Good appreciation of the local labour law, reward and mobility context Experience in liaising and communicating with multiple stakeholders across regions;

  • AdvancedEnglish;

  • Spanish desirable.
