The ideal candidate will drive the business forward with out-of-the-box ideas, strong leadership of the cross-functional team, and a hunger to challenge the status quo and realize the full growth potential of Degree in the US. In this role, you’ll handle strategy and execution of brand plans, budget, and key customers for the Degree business. The person who will be successful in this position is motivated, engaged, and passionate about taking on responsibility and being a leader in driving growth. This will be a very rewarding position - results are immediate and recognizable in-market. 

Who You Are & What You’ll Do

As an Associate Brand Manager on Degree Market Deployment, this candidate is responsible for the day-to-day management of the US business for one of Unilever’s largest brands. Working directly with our cross functional teams, this candidate will have the opportunity to craft and execute winning strategies in the marketplace. Candidates require confidence to lead internal and external teams, a bias for action, a heart for the consumer, and an ability to manage and navigate through a complex system.

  • Assist in the development and execution of brand plans to deliver against growth and profit targets including launching innovation and driving the core
  • Translate consumer insights into effective channel-specific strategies that drive market share goals across channels. 
  • Partner with customer strategy and planning team to land new innovations and in-market strategic activity
  • Deep understanding of the competitive and customer environment including share analysis
  • Prepare and interpret market research analysis, analyze, and forecast results and trend
  • Support Senior Brand Manager with budget management
  • Support and champion our brand strategy, marketing principles, and organizational values.
  • Lead, manage, and motivate cross-functional team to accomplish brand goals, objectives, and key initiatives
  • Develop annual and long-range brand plans and assist in the preparation of the presentation
  • Identify and mobilize needed resources to accomplish brand/project goals 

Pay: The pay range for this position is $86,080 to $129,120. Unilever takes into consideration a wide range of factors that are utilized in making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, qualifications and education, and other business and organizational needs.

Bonus: This position is bonus eligible.

Long-Term Incentive (LTI): This position is LTI eligible.
