We are seeking a seasoned Marketing Director to lead this critically important brand through its next phase of growth and impact.

Who You Are & What You'll Do

As Head of US DM+C MB Demand Generation and Horizon 1 Innovation, you will be responsible for directing the business performance of the Dove Men + Care MasterBrand and Skin Cleansing businesses within the United States. The role will report to the Chief Growth Officer Skin Cleansing PC US and will manage a $285M skin cleansing and influence a DMC master brand business.

Big Deliverables

  • Accelerate In-Year Growth: Lead the in-year brand strategy to accelerate growth and competitiveness for Dove Men+Care, identifying immediate growth spaces, defining a cohesive destination brand architecture from a social-first lens, and delivering an innovation plan that drives profitable, sustainable growth across Skin Cleansing and Deodorants.
  • Shape Portfolio Strategy: Partner with the Chief Growth Officers of Skin Cleansing and Deos to shape the rolling strategic plan for the PC portfolio. Share accountability with Skin Cleansing CSP team for delivering brand-specific targets including USG, GM, UOM, market share, and sustainability for Skin Cleansing.
  • Drive Execution Through Integrated Marketing: Translate business strategy into actionable marketing plans by defining the communications and channel strategy. Lead a multidisciplinary team (internal and agency) across content, influencer marketing, PR, community management, and media to deliver executional excellence.
  • Unleash Purpose at Scale: Bring the DM+C purpose and product to life through high-impact, culture-connected, experiential activations—building brand love within key communities and channels.
  • One Brand Experience: Work in close partnership with the DM+C Deos team to ensure the brand shows up consistently across all touchpoints—delivering a seamless experience to both consumers and customers.
  • Optimize for Growth: Lead strategic initiatives across the portfolio to optimize pricing, unlock fuel for growth, and maximize the efficiency and effectiveness of brand marketing investment (BMI).
  • Build and Empower the Team: Establish team structure and operating rhythm. Provide strategic direction, coaching, and performance management to ensure individuals are set up for success with the right tools, clarity, and accountability.
  • Lead with Impact: Exercise discretion over day-to-day operations—allocating work, setting priorities, reviewing output, and creating a performance-driven, purpose-fueled team environment.

Relevant Experience

  • 10+ years of progressive marketing leadership experience in innovation and demand creation, ideally within beauty and/or personal care categories
  • An expert in social demand generation, someone who has personally successfully scaled brands in a fully digital / social environment in their most recent stint
  • Proven track record of delivering brand growth and cultural relevance, with impact at scale
  • A strong skill base across the entire marketing skill set, including working with customers, P&L management, media planning and deployment, brand engagement and digital/social first acumen, strategy development, consumer love, and innovation management.  
  • Proven track record in brand strategy development, advertising development, brand equity management and in growth brands
  • US market experience
  • Previous ownership of a P&L, leadership of social-first teams and marketing strategies 
  • Deep passion and understanding of the external environment/culture and impact this has on brands and consumer experience
  • Expertise leading social-first marketing strategies and content ecosystems across owned, earned, and paid channels
  • Demonstrated ability to inspire and align cross-functional teams and agencies toward a shared brand vision
  • Strong experience managing integrated agency models and driving high-ROI content and influencer programs
  • Skilled in navigating complex, matrixed organizations while driving clarity, speed, and execution
  • Strategic and creative thinker with the ability to connect dots across functions and workstreams to deliver holistic brand building
  • Comfortable influencing senior stakeholders while also hands-on in co-creation and team development
  • Inspires through accountability and positive energy; known for unlocking team potential
  • Prior experience in male grooming background preferred
  • Based in or willing to relocate to Hoboken, NJ with travel up to 25%

Pay: The pay range for this position is $210,600 to $421,200. Unilever takes into consideration a wide range of factors that are utilized in making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, qualifications and education, and other business and organizational needs.

Bonus: This position is bonus eligible.

Long-Term Incentive (LTI) This position is LTI eligible.
