JOB PURPOSE
The purpose of the Holistic Media Planner is to lead the Market B&W integrated media and audiences plans.
WHAT WILL YOUR MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES BE
- Work with the Data, Analytics and Measurement Lead to define the audience strategy for the Brand.
- Develop and implement comprehensive media strategies across various channels (paid search, social media, TV, OOH, display, programmatic, etc.), and optimise suitable mix of channels for the Brand.
- Manage media budgets effectively.
- Coordinate implementations with the media agency.
- Be the Contact between agencies and brands.
- Develop assets with brands and co-create social first strategies.
Experiences & Qualifications
- Digital marketing experience: Specifically in the beauty industry. This experience could include developing and implementing digital marketing/media campaigns, managing digital marketing/media budgets, and tracking and analysing digital marketing metrics.
- A strong understanding of different media channels: Including paid search, paid social, display advertising, and affiliate marketing.
- Media buying and planning: Including with planning tools (e.g. Google Ads, Facebook Ads Manager).
- Experience with web analytics tools: To be able to track, measure, and analyse the performance of media campaigns across all channels.
- Campaign management and optimisation: Experience managing and optimising media campaigns to maximise return on investment (ROI).
Skills
Analytics:
- Data Analysis: Ability to interpret large datasets, identify trends, and extract actionable insights to inform media strategy and optimisation decisions.
- Performance Measurement: Strong understanding of key performance indicators (KPIs) relevant to different media channels and campaigns, and the ability to track, measure, and report on their performance.
- Budget Management: Skill in managing and allocating media budgets effectively across multiple channels to maximise return on investment (ROI).
Media:
- Media Buying Platforms: Proficiency in using various media buying platforms like Google Ads, Facebook Ads Manager, DV360, The Trade Desk, etc.
- Analytics Tools: Expertise in utilising web analytics tools such as Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics, or similar platforms to track campaign performance and user behaviour.
- Marketing Automation: Familiarity with marketing automation tools and their integration with media campaigns for enhanced targeting and personalisation
Campaign Strategy:
- Campaign Strategy: Ability to develop and execute comprehensive media strategies aligned with overall business objectives and target audience insights.
- Channel Optimisation: Skill in continuously monitoring, analysing, and adjusting media campaigns across different channels to improve performance and efficiency.
- Trend Forecasting: Staying abreast of emerging media trends, technologies, and best practices in the digital marketing landscape, particularly within the beauty industry.
- Passion for Beauty: A demonstrable passion for the beauty landscape, its products, keeping up with trends, innovations, and key players, reflecting a genuine enthusiasm for the field.
Communication:
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills for clear reporting, presenting findings, and collaborating with internal and external stakeholders.
- Problem-Solving: Ability to identify and analyse challenges, develop creative solutions, and adapt strategies based on data and insights.
- Collaboration: Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with marketing teams, creative agencies, and other relevant departments.
