Job Title: Head of Engineering (Engineering Director)

Location: Minburi Site, Bangkok, Thailand

Position Summary

We are seeking a strategic and hands-on Head of Engineering (Engineering Director) to lead the engineering function across our Minburi site, overseeing both the Home Care (HC) and Beauty & Wellbeing and Personal Care (BPC) plants, including central utilities. This role is critical in driving operational excellence, leading transformation initiatives, and building a high-performing engineering organization.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Site Engineering Leadership

  • Lead and manage all engineering activities across HC and BPC plants at the Minburi site.
  • Ensure safe, reliable, and efficient operation of all plant equipment and utilities.
  • Oversee capital projects, maintenance strategies, and engineering compliance.

2. Central Utilities Oversight

  • Manage the performance, reliability, and sustainability of central utilities (e.g., steam, chilled water, compressed air, power).
  • Drive energy efficiency and utility cost optimization initiatives.

3. Transformation & Continuous Improvement

  • Lead and execute engineering transformation programs aligned with business goals (e.g., digitalization, automation, sustainability).
  • Champion lean manufacturing, TPM, and continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to deliver productivity and performance improvements.

4. Engineering Capability Building

  • Develop and implement a strategic roadmap for engineering capability development.
  • Build a strong engineering talent pipeline through coaching, mentoring, and training.
  • Foster a culture of innovation, technical excellence, and problem-solving.

5. Compliance & Risk Management

  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory, safety, and environmental standards.
  • Lead risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies for critical assets and processes.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, or related field).
  • 10+ years of progressive engineering leadership experience in manufacturing, preferably in FMCG or process industries.
  • Proven experience managing multi-plant operations and central utilities.
  • Strong track record in leading transformation and capability-building initiatives.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Fluent in English and Thai (preferred).
