Function: Customer Development - Channel Manager - HORECA

Reports to: Area Sales Manager

Scope: Includes local territory specific to Central East Visayas, North Mindanao and South Mindanao. This role covers HORECA channel such as Hotels, Restaurants, FIBS and Caterers. The role also expands from direct HORECA management to area wide Horeca channel ownership. The CDM Horeca role will also work closely with Pull CDEs in the area being the lead in the total growth strategy and direction of the channel

Location: Includes local territory specific to Central East Visayas, North Mindanao and South Mindanao. Each area will have 1 CD Channel Manager-Horeca.  The role extends to all Distributors in the area handling Horeca channel. Channel Manager can travel from 1 DT to another. If there is a Hybrid CDE in that area, the HYBRID CDE can work with the CD Channel manager. Reporting line for Pull CDES is dotted line to the Channel Manager

With the expected reopening of more Horeca operators in the Southern part of the country, it is a must to catch this wave of growth as the food and tourism industry are regaining its strength. With this opportunity, such role is essential to capitalize on this development. The CDM Horeca role will take charge in more customer opening and engagement as we share our best solutions to their needs with the help of our brands. Customer collaboration, Ideations and solution exploration will be the order of the day for a CDM Horeca manager. Directionally, she will synergize with Marketing and Culinary for Horeca plans and ammunition. Lastly, expanding his/her role is important also in the sharpening of the Chefmanship Quotient of his/her fellow Pull CDE teammates. She will be the lead person in their capability development through coaching and field wok withs.  >  If you are highly interested and energized in this work ambition and dynamics then this role is just for you!

WHAT WILL YOUR MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES BE

  • Deliver Business Targets of the total area for HORECA (Secondary Sales)

  • Handle total PULL CANNEL in the area (HOTELS, RESTAURANTS, FIBS, CATERERS)

  • Execute Pull Local and National Marketing Plans (Innovation, Activations and Campaigns

  • Co-Manage Pull CDE in the area with Area Sales Manager

  • Support CDM PUSH to ensure DT efficiency, Excellence Service levels and Profitability

  • Create and recommend Sources of Growth in the area for HORECA CHANNEL

  • Be the Capability partner to drive PULL CDE CQ

  • People Management and Leadership – Handle Push and Hybrid CDES

Experiences & Qualifications

  • In Account management experience, managing complex and fragmented geographies whilst establishing disciplined Go To Market KPIS. Minimum of 2 years' experience of Account Management

  • Highly Skilled Sales Leader - Able to directly handle Distributors with Fully operational skills on DT Operations, DT Salesmen management, DT Profitability, AR, Business waste and Customer Service Excellence

  • Strong Negotiation skills, relationship Building and strategic thinking, Collaborator

  • People Leader- can train, coach and mentor to unlock sales team capabilities
