Head of Finance - UFS North America

Job Purpose

The Head of Finance UFS North America, is a key role within the UFS Finance team and UFS N.A. organization, responsible for delivering growth of UFS business across North America, leading the performance from the front while ensuring strong financial governance of spends and controls. The Head of Finance UFS is a core member of the UFS leadership team and plays a key role in delivering Unilever’s 2030 growth ambition.

Key responsibilities

• Business Partner the UFS N.A. leadership team to provide financial insights that drive key strategic decisions and shape the long-term strategic direction of the business.
• Deliver the annual plans and 2030 UFS N.A. strategic plan
• Drive business performance by steering multi-functional planning processes, providing high-quality rolling forecasts, and guiding dynamic resource allocation.
• Ensure strong financial governance of spends and controls, including budget control, cost management, and compliance with global frameworks.
• Lead, coach, and develop a diverse finance team, fostering talent and building succession plans.
• Promote a culture of high performance, continuous improvement, and collaboration across teams
• Build strong relationships with key stakeholders, including the UFS N.A. LT, UFS Finance leadership team and external partners.

Required Qualifications

• 10+ years of Finance Business Partnering in an FMCG or CPG environment.
• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or business-related discipline. 
• Proven track record in P&L delivery by managing a complex set of stakeholders, driving business improvement, and closing gaps to target.
• Interpersonal skills include influencing, mentoring, coaching, collaborating, and team building.
• Strong analytical, planning, and organizational skills with an ability to manage competing demands.
• Grounded in understanding business needs with the ability to establish/maintain high level of stakeholder trust and confidence.

Preferred Qualifications

• MBA and/or advanced degree.
• 3+ years of prior CFO/Head of Finance experience.

Pay: The pay range for this position is $221,100 to $386,925 . Unilever takes into consideration a wide range of factors that are utilized in making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, qualifications and education, and other business and organizational needs.  

Bonus: This position is bonus eligible.  

Long-Term Incentive (LTI): This position is LTI eligible.
