As a Portfolio Marketing Assistant Brand Manager, you will be responsible for translating the current and future chef needs into a strategic portfolio plan, manage the total portfolio through simplification, launch and relaunch projects from product development till product/brand communication. You will be responsible to:
• Drive Business Growth Targets for categories and brands
• Build/Manage portfolio positioning & sustainable growth strategy
• Manage simplification, launch and relaunch projects (link local / global)
• Provide Brand or category content to support launches
• Collect & analyses customer & market insights
• Train sales force on product knowledge through culinary trainings / selling stories
JOB PURPOSE
Main purpose of the job:
• Manage the mix of the current portfolio for Turkey
• Lead mix development for innovations and renovations for Turkey (from market insights to the effective launch/relaunch of a product)
• Drive growth for Turkey through perfect execution of portfolio related activities of the Integrated Business Plan (IBP)
• Main interface between Turkey and META team, also the Global team if necessary
• Own Portfolio part of the IBP from development till execution
• Develop Strategic portfolio funnel (Short & long term)
• Local category knowledge and understanding (competition / operator needs & usage /…)
• Analyze category performance and define & implement corrective actions
• Drive portfolio projects with the relevant local teams
WHAT WILL YOUR MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES BE
Portfolio marketing:
• Local portfolio management, 7 P’s
• Lead mix development for innovations and renovations
• Start projects in Innoflex, the innovation gate platform and follow all the gates with necessary data in the system
• Local input for category strategy
• Strategic pricing: implement and track pricing in market and take corrective actions as appropriate.
• Perfect execution of portfolio data in systems (pricing, naming, hero images)
• Troubleshooting
• Passion to help the operators (the chefs) to love what they do
• Manage portfolio and category marketing routine tasks.
WHAT YOU WILL NEED TO SUCCEED
Experiences & Qualifications
• 1:3 years of marketing experience
• Portfolio management (Strategic planning, Business cases building, launches, simplification execution, strategic pricing)
• Food industry Business Acumen
• Experience with working in a multinational
