JOB PURPOSE

Unilever is the place where you can bring your purpose to life with the work that you do – creating a better business and a better worldAs a Market Demand Manageryou will master of demand planning process area and orchestrator of the S&OP Process for Personal Care BU.You will become a business partner for Personal Care Leadership Team where you will represent SC area. You willbeclose business partner for our CSP/Marketing/Customer Business Developmentcolleagues,butyou will also stay close with our Genpact partnerssupporting them inBU business requirements. As a SC partner you will also represent Personal Care SC area externally to our customers via E2E collaborations. Your main areas of interest will include:

  • Accurate Forecasting: Developing effective forecast models based on industry trends, historical data, and demand patterns to predict future customer demand

  • Inventory Management: Ensuring optimal inventory levels to meet customer needs while minimizing excess stock and reducing costs

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Working closely with sales, marketing, finance, and supply chain teams to align demand forecasts with business goals and ensure seamless operations

  • Performance Monitoring: Tracking key performance indicators (KPIs) related to demand planning and making necessary adjustments to improve accuracy and efficiency

  • Process Improvement: Continuously identifying and implementing process improvements to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the demand planning function

  • Leading improvement agenda:In collaboration with Customer Operations leadership team and Genpact

WHAT WILL YOUR MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES BE

Key responsibilities:

  • S&OP process orchestrator for Personal Care BU. Support the country Business Unit (BU) discussions with deep understanding of the market demand drivers. Leading Demand Review meetings

  • Gather business insights, assumptions, risks & opportunities, and help translating them into demand drivers for auto-forecast modelling

  • Ensure updated and agreed volume forecast issubmitted and aligned with financial forecasting

  • Support digital transformation agenda deployment driving zero-touch S&OP process, while maintaining or increasing performance

  • Support external SC collaborations with customers for Personal Care

  • Continues improvement ofdispatch rate, forecast accuracy, bias,volume-value disconnect,inventory & excess stock results

  • Responsibility for innovation & discontinuation process.Innovations volumes alignment with business partners and P&I. Coordinating timings,ensuring innovations are properly incorporated into forecast considering customer requirements (i.e. listing windows)

  • Collaborate within Business Unit to drive efficiency in portfolio management activities. Be the guardian of complexity reduction process with SC and commercial partners (i.e. Polaris)

  • Accountable for Business Wastes. Conducts first review of excess stock before further processing

  • Processes and tools deployment to relevant stakeholders in line with organization strategy and business needs

  • Long term repack plan management in line with business expectations

WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED

Experiences & Qualifications

  • 3-5 years proven experience in Planning / Supply Chain area, demand planning experience is essential, but roles both in both demand & supply planning will be an advantage. FMCG experience preferred

  • Education in the field of economics, finance, supply chain management, business management preferred

  • Proven S&OP process experience in complex organizations. High level of process ownership

  • Leadership and influencing skills. Good understanding of business and willingness to propose and co-create solutions and recommendations. Proactive and hands-on approach

  • Strong creative and problem-solving skills paired with strong presentation and storytelling skills

  • Ability to effectively switch between strategic thinking and short-term execution

  • Team player. Must have ability to work in cross functional teams, including remote teams, to achieve common goals

  • Project & change management skills

  • Adaptivity, responsiveness and flexibility to work in a fast-paced environment with dynamic business and industry challenges

  • Digital savvy and data driven decision maker

  • Experience in cooperating with drugstores channelpreferred

  • Good technical skills.Experience in Excel / SAP / Kinaxis Rapid Response / Power BI. PowerBI experience as report developer preferred.

  • Fluent Polish and English both written and verbally
