MAIN JOB PURPOSE:
Execute with our customers the customer strategy and customer business plan. Is responsible for the achievement of Sales (Net Invoice Value and Turnover), Market Share and Debtor days for the Ice Cream categories as well as for the implementation and the optimization of the promotional plan and category strategies within the customer.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Implementing the Customer Business Plan
Reporting to Head of Sales, the candidate’s key channel management will be in total DCom (Pureplay, Marketplace) and On Demand Delivery - ICNOW (Food Delivery Platforms).
The candidate will:
Work closely with customers and distributors to implement the business plan for his/her respective categories. Works in close collaboration with the category management team for the category input, and with customer marketing and brand teams for the specific banner/channel plan
Develop and then implement the optimal integrated promo plan (incl. selling the plan at the customer) and managing promo investments
Manage customer promo investment with the customer ensuring all Optimizing Promotional Sell Out (OPSO) inputs are completed in a timely manner
Provide clear objectives and deliverables for distributor team
Deliver the agreed plan, follow-up achievement of counterparts set in customer agreements
Provide timely feedback on the plan to ensure adjustments can be made to implement the optimal plan
Negotiation
Close the deal with the Customer by negotiating the promotional plan including funding levels and counterparts according to the Unilever strategy on his/her categories
Manage overall levels of Customer Investments for their category
Monitor Customer Performance by tracking sales, customer contribution and market share for major categories
Plays active ambassador role
Acts as active ambassador of Unilever at the customer and of the customer at Unilever
Participates actively in internal Unilever meetings, looking at the best solution for the business even if not in line for his/her customer

KEY REQUIREMENTS:
Min 3-5 years’ experience in Retail/FMCG sales experience
Key Account and Sales experience
FMCG experience
Min degree holder
