Job Description
Title: Senior Procurement Coordinator- Brazil
If you are in the Magnum Ice Cream Company, you will work for the Global, leading Ice Cream player with €7.9bn Turn Over in 2023. The Ice Cream business is operating in a highly attractive category, as we are part of the 1 trillion snacking and refreshment industry, growing consistently at high pace. We have strong brands equities: 5 of top 10 selling brands including Wall’s, Magnum, and Ben &Jerry’s. We are investing to unlock the full growth potential of Ice Cream as a standalone entity, once we separate from Unilever, which is planned to happen by November 2025.

JOB PURPOSE
Are you willing to join a strong creative multicultural team and experience operating like a CPO? Then this is the job for you. The assistant procurement manager will lead the procurement function in partnering the Brazil business unit.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Connect the business strategy and category priorities with the procurement strategy developed by the portfolio groups, engaging with the global procurement organization.
Business partner Brazil Ice Cream in product logic value creation and category P&L delivery.
Develop and support the execution of sourcing strategies involving external manufacturing (3PM) with the Brazil SC team.
Develop market intelligence with trends, players, and capabilities to support make-or-buy decisions with the SC and FIN teams.
Lead (prepare and conduct) negotiations with suppliers (local or regional) and manage supplier relationships.
Constantly benchmark market competitiveness.
Deliver financial targets (NMI, cost reduction, payment terms, etc.).
Manage Basic Purchasing Notions (Negotiation, Strategy Building, Contracts, Compliance, Blocked Invoices).
Support the company's sustainability plan.
Support the implementation of innovation and/or sourcing projects.
Interface with local suppliers and the market on behalf of Magnum Ice Cream.
Develop new third parties according to the standards, costs, and requirements sought by Unilever within the SC strategy.
Be the first point of contact for multifunctional teams such as Marketing, Quality, R&D, Legal, Finance, etc.
WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED:
EXPERIENCES & QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor’s degree completed, preferably in Engineering or Administration;
Procurement experience will be a key differentiator on selection process;
Advanced English required;
Knowledge of SAP and Office.
