JOB PURPOSE


The Ice Cream Supply Chain HR Business Partner Europe/ANZ plays a crucial role in shaping and implementing our HR for Supply Chain blueprint in the new Ice Cream Organisation. This role will be responsible for working on the right HR priorities for the existing SC Organisation for Ice Cream, integrating the HR strategy within the supply chain operations, ensuring that they are equipped to handle the operational aspects and prepared to manage and develop their human capital effectively.

This role will be the HR business partner for BU Europe Supply Chain for the successful enablement of a standalone Ice Cream company that is geared for future success as a market leader in its industry. The role will report into the HR Head of Europe and ANZ, and work closely with the HR Lead for Global Supply Chain to ensure close alignment with the functional people agenda.

WHAT WILL YOUR MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES BE

Strategy Development: Align organizational design with the overall business strategy and OKRs. Identify areas of improvement and propose changes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.

Organisational Design and Development: Support in the development and implementation of new roles, responsibilities, and reporting lines within the organization.

Change Management: Lead change management initiatives to ensure smooth transition to new organizational designs. Manage resistance to change by communicating benefits and involving key stakeholders in the transformation process.

People development agenda across Europe and ANZ factories: Overseeing and aligning the full range agenda of training and development across all sourcing units in Europe. Designing and defining training programs tailored to the specific needs of the Supply Chain team to ensure we have the current and future skills needed. This entails scaling up initiatives initiatives like ‘School of Cool’ and other programs building our pipeline of future talent for SC; the development and roll out of (centralized) trainings for line manager, engineers, and manufacturing leaders to support career development in manufacturing.

Streamline factory organization: Align and implement the factory organization blueprint and journey for all European IC factories in line with the factory performance, UMS status and IC productivity ambitions.  Organizational design takes into account future work trends and operational needs in the new Supply Chain set-up.

Competitiveness Terms and Conditions IC factories: Review the current CLA set up for European factories, develop a plan to manage inflation and keep factories competitive, and manage the IR/ER landscape where applicable. Understanding and planning for changes in alignment with technological advancements, market shifts, or organisational restructuring in our factories and across our SC teams.

Support the future fit labour agenda with focus on labour flexibility (with a focus on labour flexibility models) to minimise impact of seasonality of the IC business on sourcing units

Unions and work council relationships and policy management support: Support to European IC factories on creating and reinforcing local policies in line with IR/ER requirements and dynamics. Main aim is to foster a proactive and positive work environment that aligns with broader organisational goals, ensuring that workplace policies are applied fairly and consistently.

Integration of safety and wellbeing agenda for the European IC sourcing units

Business partner to the IC SC EU and ANZ Head and leadership team

Trusted advisor to the Ice Cream Head of Supply Chain Europe/ANZ and the leadership team for BU IC SC

Driving the talent management agenda in manufacturing for Europe Ice Cream and possible E2E SC, including a clear follow up on actionable areas, a clear communication plan and engagement on a European level

Implement ED&I strategy within our factories that aligns with the HR Strategy for Ice cream to ensure a diverse workforce and an inclusive environment across our Supply Chain.

WHAT YOU WILL NEED TO SUCCEED

Experiences & Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or similar

  • Prior HRBP experience is a must.

  • Strong drive & owners mindset.

  • Experience of working on large scale change programme is preferable

  • Relevant experience working with Supply Chain, experience as HRBP in a factory is preferred

  • Experience delivering and developing key HR and company transformations

  • Proven track record of analytical thinking and project management across HR contexts

  • Working experience with HR processes to best integrate all SC standards and tools, and increase simplification.

  • Proven experience in senior stakeholder engagement to drive global HR projects.

Skills

  • A great strategic thinker – able to connect the dots on all things HR and its impact on the wider business. Being able to step back and view the bigger picture is essential.

  • Ability to influence strategic deliverables in a widely matrixed organisation. International business/cultural sensitivity.

  • Ability to manage multiple requests and priorities simultaneously.

  • Good observation and auditing skills.

  • Resilient to lead others to deliver with passion through uncertainty and create opportunities through the core and beyond.

  • Takes personal responsibility and accountability for execution and results. Generates intensity and focus to motivate people to deliver results at speed.
