Every day, many Italian consumers use our products to find products with superior performance to make everyday cleaning experience simpler and satysfing.

JOB PURPOSE:

We’re looking for a Fabric Cleaning Brand Specialist to join our team within the Unilever Home Care Italy team, in one of our most strategic and dynamic category within the local team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the Laundry Marketing Leadin the developmentof the national Brand Marketing Plan (BMP)for fabric cleaning category, to meet Business Unit ambitions and goals.

Main areas of scope of work: monitoring and reporting consumers data and markets to guide insights to craft strategic category plans, deploy global innovation to fit Italian consumer and market context, lead the crafting of win in social digital campaigns to support the growth of our power brands (Coccolino & Lysoform), with excellence collaboration across cross-functional and marketing local and international teams.

This position is based in our Rome office HQ.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Responsible for brand and competitors performance analyse in market to guide insights,evaluating support activities on a monthly basis;

  • Support the Marketing Manager to develop and deploy global marketing plan by planning and executing integrated activity schedule across consumers touchpoints;

  • Leads adaptation of brand communication assets from global marketing (TVC, Digital Assets, POS materials) to dial up unmissable execution for our brands;

  • Partner with creative and media agencies to deliver always-on content, campaign bursts, and real-time cultural activations to win in social;

  • Drive influencer and creator partnerships that authentically amplify the brand and connect with communities at scale;

  • Stay ahead of platform innovations, digital trends, and cultural shifts to keep Coccolino & Lysoform future-fit and emotionally resonant with Italian consumers;

  • Define and track performance KPIs (reach, engagement, sentiment, conversion), using insights to optimize and evolve our approach;

  • Monthly control of brand budget;

  • Assist in the brand’s day to day operational activities;

  • Builds productive working relationship with Trade Marketing, Global Marketing, R&D, CMI, Finance and Supply Chain to manage the brand’s day to day operations.

WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED: 

EXPERIENCES & QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Degree in Business Administration, Marketing or a related field;

  • +3 years experience in brand management or marketing department. Experience in FMCG preferred, but not necessary;

  • Ability to analyze sales data and market trends to support strategic decisions;

  • Interest in consumer understanding, marketing communications and social-first strategies.;

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel and PowerPoint;

  • Fluent in Italian and English (B2)

SKILLS:

  • Team player with consumer centric mindset and strong result orientation;

  • Strong communication skills and proactive attitude;

  • High level of adaptability to cope with the dynamic nature of FMCG industry;

  • Aesthetic eye and sensibility, creative mindset and "out-of-the-box" thinking;

  • Willingness to learn and adapt to new tools, technologies, and methodologies;

  • Enterprising spirit, know how to prioritize activities and when raise hand – we work as a team but each of one contributes autonomously to the final goal;

  • No prior experience in the laundry category required—what matters is your ability to think big, act fast, and connect emotionally with people.
