Technical Operator 3 - C​ompounding/Mixer

Location of the job: Raeford, NC

Shift Assignment:

12 hr PM: 7:00 pm - 7:30 am (2/2/3 shift pattern)

Pay Rate – $24.80, with an additional $1.50 shift differential for the 12 hr PM shift assignment | Weekly pay period

The Technical Operator 3 - Compounding/Mixer will be responsible for operating production equipment, troubleshoot process faults, and making required adjustments to ensure quality and efficiency.

Who You Are & What You’ll Do

  • Coordinate activities between compounding, operations, and the warehouse. 

  • Assist with major repairs, installations, and maintenance. 

  • Direct and train new teammates. 

  • Ensure production, reconciliation, and inventory documents are completed neatly and accurately. 

  • Review the production schedule, review the shift change log and confer with scheduling to determine any priority changes in production and to assess any potential obstacles to the successful completion of the schedule.

  • Have an active role in employee relations programs on your shift and drive positive employee relations through various reward and recognition programs. 

  • Work closely with hourly leadership and provide clear direction for them to carry out the duties of their job. 

  • Provide feedback to the Area leaders in order to improve the efficient operation of the shift including the assignment of labor, completion of data collection activities and the management of daily operations.

  • Responsible for following GXP.  This includes but is not limited to Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP), Good Laboratory Practice (GLP) and Good Documentation Practice (GDP)

  • All other duties as assigned

What You’ll Need To Succeed

  • High school diplomas or GED equivalent

  • Preferred: Associate’s Degree in Maintenance or 2+ Years equivalent manufacturing experience

  • Strong computer skills

  • Understanding of basic manufacturing principles including operation and maintenance of equipment

  • Understanding of lean principles

  • Ability to understand different team roles and effectively communicate with other team members and leadership
