Background & Purpose of the Job
The Dove Beauty team is seeking a Global Senior Brand Manager to lead breakthrough global innovation and key strategic workstreams for the fast growth and highly strategic Dove Hair portfolio. This role is pivotal in shaping the future of Dove Hair by concepting and creating superior, consumer-loved innovations to deliver across key markets including Latin America, North America & Asia. The immediate focus is to drive the development of 2026/2027/2028 innovations from concept to launch and leading key strategic and operational workstreams for the Dove hair holistic portfolio and Beauty community.
Who You Are & What You’ll Do
This role is ideal for a strategic thinker and innovation leader who thrives on crafting disruptive ideas, translating consumer insights into compelling propositions, and collaborating across global teams. You will be responsible for delivering Dove Hair’s ambitious innovation launches, managing cross-functional squads, and ensuring excellence in execution.
Your responsibilities will include:
Leading global innovation projects on core and new platforms, including insight development, concept creation, MVP testing and improvement, formulation/packaging, sourcing and timeline to deliver to market on time, in full. Cross functional team to include R&D, Supply Chain, Finance, Insights key partners
Driving unmissable brand superiority across touchpoints
Leading strategic workstreams such as sensorials/fragrance and claims roadmap
Managing global design to ensure consistency and excellence across markets
Collaborating with regional teams, agencies, and suppliers to align on strategy and execution
Support brand lead on operational oversight such as budget, 12qp setting, financial growth model, funnel sufficiency
Providing leadership and coaching to one or more direct reports
Lead a global Beauty Community for Dove, driving insights sharing, knowledge building and team building a few touchpoints per year
What You’ll Need To Succeed
Bachelor’s Degree; MBA preferred
Proven experience in senior brand management or innovation roles
Proven track record in leading global innovation projects
Passion for beauty and deep understanding of consumer and category trends
Strong project management and cross-functional leadership skills
Experience managing and developing junior team members
Ability to work across geographies and time zones
Strategic mindset with creative problem-solving abilities
Experience with Unilever tools and processes (e.g., BLUE, UBS, Numerator) is a plus

Location
In 2020, Unilever announced the intention to build a new sustainable campus site in Kingston, London to house the employees who currently work in 100 Victoria Embankment in Blackfriars ("100VE"), Lever House in Kingston and Graze in Richmond, the build is due to be complete in early 2025. Most recently, in August 2024, we announced our intention to retain our premises in 100VE until our lease expires in 2027.
We are due to consult with our existing workforce on the new proposal to retain 100VE for the duration of our lease. Therefore, until such a time consultation has concluded as to the retention of our 100VE office, this role will be based in 100 Victoria Embankment until early 2025 and then will move to the Kingston Campus.
