JOB PURPOSE
This role looks after warehousing and re-packing activities, ensuring these are executed in the most cost-effective way while keeping in line with established quality parameters. S/he will create and improve warehousing processes and ways of working, along with ensuring that we remain a great place to work and foster safe working conditions for all employees.

WHAT WILL YOUR MAIN RESPONSIBILITES BE

  • Supervision of all Unilever warehousing and distribution networks (ambient, chilled, frozen).

  • Monitoring of warehousing operations and stock control.

  • Supervision and control of domestic transport and distribution activities.

  • Supervision and control of all re-packing operations.

  • Finding and implementing new and more effective processes and ways of working.

  • Monitoring of procedures and instructions in execution by third party companies.

  • Proposals and negotiations of agreements with third party companies.

  • Price negotiations with third party companies.

  • Preparation and execution of tenders for logistics services.

  • Cost control of warehousing, transportation, re-packing and customs services.

  • Co-operation and coordination with the Unilever European Logistics Team (USCC).

  • Managing SCE KPIs - designing and reporting.

  • Acting according to the Health and Safety Standards and Employer procedures.

  • Participation in budgeting processes and budget execution.

  • Execution of warehouse lease and sub-lease contracts.

WHAT YOU WILL NEED TO SUCCEED

EXPERIENCES  

  • 3-5 years' experience in warehousing/transportation.

  • Practical knowledge of warehousing, transportation and customs issues.

  • Hands on experience of ERP/WMS/SAP.

  • Ability to manage multiple stakeholders

  • Skilled at negotiation

  • Proven ability to make data-driven decisions
