Title of role:  Preweigh Technician  

$27.12-27.62, paid weekly

Base wage- $27.12 per hour with an additional shift differential

After successful evaluation period, base wage increases to $27.62 per hour with additional shift differential

3rd Shift (M-F- day worked based off clock out time)- 11pm- 7:15am, $1.00 Shift Premium

Background & Purpose of the Job:

The Preweigh Technician is responsible for the safe operation of processing chemical batches to production. This operation delivers customer requirements through completion of the processing weighing, adhering to quality standards, and maximizing cost effectiveness, optimal processes, and efficiency.

What You’ll Do:

  • Weigh chemicals in according to the provided bill of materials
  • Perform staging/returning duties on the forklift
  • Operate drum haulers within weighing area
  • Record chemical weighs and ensure accurate inventory control in SAP

What You’ll Need To Succeed

  • High School Diploma required. 
  • Must have the ability to Read and Comprehend, Writing and Mathematics. 
  • 2+ years’ experience in a manufacturing setting operating.
  • Standup/sit down forklift experience
  • Previous experience operating weighing scales (preferred)
