JOB PURPOSE
The Outbound Logistics Supervisor is responsible for ensuring that all orders are fulfilled On Time In Full (OTIF) and supporting various departments to exceed customer expectations. This role involves meticulous planning and tracking of order execution, monitoring the performance of 3PL warehousing and transportation, and managing reverse logistics processes. The candidate will ensure smooth operations in compliance with Unilever’s standards, maintain effective communication with stakeholders, and lead daily operations and projects to enhance efficiency and cost-effectiveness. Additionally, the role includes financial management tasks, such as validating distribution charges and submitting cost estimations, as well as conducting analysis and reporting to provide insights for continuous improvement.
WHAT WILL YOUR MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES BE
Order Execution and Dispatch: Ensure timely and accurate execution of orders, follow up on dispatch progress with 3PL and relevant stakeholders, and resolve dispatch challenges on SAP & WMS.
Communication and Coordination: Maintain effective communication with external and internal parties (3PL, CX, CD, Finance) to address business challenges and provide status updates.
Returns Management: Monitor and align return reasons with 3PL and CX, initiate action plans to prevent recurring issues, and manage RTV requests.
Daily Operations and Compliance: Lead daily operation calls with 3PL warehousing and transportation teams, ensure compliance with Unilever’s SSHE & Quality standards, and conduct regular site visits to review quality and safety standards.
Efficiency and Cost Management: Identify opportunities for operational efficiency and cost savings, manage the supply and replenishment of pallets and stationary invoice papers, and oversee month-end closing activities.
Analysis and Reporting: Conduct detention and return analysis, truck utilization analysis, customer return reconciliation, prepare performance insights, and fill the KSA logistics scorecard.
Financial Management: Submit monthly cost estimations to the Finance team, validate 3PL distribution charges, resolve disputes, and complete shipment costing on the SAP system.
Project Management: Initiate and lead outbound projects, align actions with 3PL and stakeholders, and implement required actions and analysis related to the projects.
Experiences & Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering, logistics, supply chain management, business administration, or a related field.
0 - 2 Years Experience in Supply Chain.
