MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

Compliance

  • Develop and implement regulatory strategies to ensure products, processes, and claims comply with relevant local, national, and international regulations.
  • Provide updates on regulatory changes, assess their impact, and ensure compliance.
  • Drive digitalization and manage regulatory documentation and applications.
  • Support responses to compliance challenges from authorities.

Innovation

  • Be first point of contact and expert of local regulatory requirements.
  • Support the regulatory strategy and guide for innovation projects.
  • Provide regulatory input to innovation and renovation projects to ensure on time in full delivery.
  • Support collaboration with Legal, RD&I, and other functions to ensure regulatory alignment.

Advocacy: Shaping Future Regulatory Space

  • Apply technical influencing strategies for regulatory positions.
  • Collaborate with key functions to define and communicate aligned views and positions.
  • Monitor the external environment: Drive for regulatory change or new product regulations, defend Unilever’s position in the face of new regulations or amendment in regulations
  • Represent Unilever in local external bodies e.g. Trade Associations, Authorities and/or other organizations
  • Strengthen/build local networks as required (with technical regulators and relevant Key Opinion Formers)

We seek individuals with the right attitude, mindset, and competencies to shape regulatory strategy in Türkiye. You should be able to work effectively in cross-disciplinary teams and adapt to a fast-changing business environment.

Skills/Experience/Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Food Engineering, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering or related discipline
  • 3 - 5 years of experience in related field preferably within a FMCG environment with expertise in related legislations, ideally in foods and beverages
  • Good communication skills in Turkish and English
  • Attention to details, result-oriented and strategical thinking
  • Proven track record in active collaboration with R&D and non-R&D functions as well as 3rd parties in support of the innovation program
  • Solid expertise in Regulatory Development
  • Proven record in interacting with Country Regulatory Authorities
  • Solid experience on managing complex stakeholder relationships and ability to integrate diverse business interests
