The Retailer Marketing Associate (Grocery, Value, and Drug Channels) role sits at the nexus of shopper marketing, retail media and performance measurement to ensure that we become the most accountable, performance-driven retail marketing organization in the industry – driving brand equity and measurable business growth. 

What you’ll do:

Build Retailer Marketing plans through a deep understanding of our customers’ ecosystems, Unilever business needs, and historical media performance

  • Deliver annual Shopper Marketing and Retail Media plans,with: thorough agency briefs, customer presentations, agency guidance, creative reviews and program evaluation

  • Collaborate and challenge our internal Customer Brand (Sales) Teams through innovative Shopper Marketing plans

  • Analyze, measure and optimize shopper marketing and retail media plans by understanding business results, shopper dynamics and industry insights

  • Identify retail-specific business building opportunities that drive efficient and effective programming

Serve as the Beauty & Wellbeing Leadacross multiple retailers

  • Work with other Shopper Marketing experts to aggregate plans and performance across the Grocery, Value, Drug and Club customer channels

  • Ensure that other Shopper Marketing experts are aware of brand communication platforms

  • Manage Shopper Marketing and Retail Media budgets, with accountability for accuracy and swift updates

What You’ll need to succeed:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Media, or related field preferred

  • 3-5 years of experience in Shopper Marketing and/or Retail Media, including managing holistic program development for suppliers focused on retailer ecosystems

  • Experience in translating Sales Strategies into winning Shopper Marketing and Retail Media programs

  • Strong grasp of data-driven and performance marketing, with a mindset led by agility and transformation

  • Advanced knowledge of the current retailer media marketplace and firm understanding around major media platforms like Meta, TikTok, Pinterest, etc. 

  • Experience in developing strategy based on media performance and KPI tracking & delivery

  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and presentation skills that can influencer mid-to-senior level stakeholders

  • Ability to operate both strategically and tactically in a fast-paced environment

  • Highly organized; able to multi-task and communicate with numerous touch points

  • Passion for Beauty marketing paired with a positive, resilient attitude

  • Ability to travel regularly to Cincinnati.

Pay: The pay range for this position is $86,080 to $129,120. Unilever takes into consideration a wide range of factors that are utilized in making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, qualifications and education, and other business and organizational needs. 

Bonus: This position is bonus eligible. 

Long-Term Incentive (LTI): This position is LTI eligible.
