Job Summary:
Manage all activities related to customer account management & credit control within a given area/segment of customers (small businesses) in accordance with Unilever standards and procedures; Manage the end-to-end process for collection of outstanding debts from customers by setting up appropriate systems and controls to ensure effective cash flow position at any time.

Job Responsibility:
1. Develop annual plan to manage credit limit for each customer and review monthly reports on usage against limits to identify potential risks;
2. Analyze aging of accounts receivables to identify trends or areas where there are problems and develop plans to improve collections;
3. Implement appropriate action plans to collect overdues based on analysis above;
4. Maintain clear records of correspondence and telephone calls to ensure smooth communication with customers;
5. Identify bad debt cases and take actions as per policy to minimize losses;
6. Provide regular management reports to senior managers on accounts receivable status and progress of action plans to improve efficiency of credit control function;
7. Negotiate payment terms and conditions with key customers;
8. Ensure accurate and timely reporting to line manager and other relevant departments;
9. Support marketing promotion programs for assigned customers;
10. Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualification:
• University degree in Economics, Business Administration, Finance, Accountancy, or equivalent;
• At least 3 years’ experience in financial operations/credit control/accounts receivable functions, preferably gained in multinational companies;
• Good command of English language (both written and spoken);
• Good knowledge of MS Office applications especially Excel and Access;
• Strong leadership skills and teamwork spirit;
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines;
• Customer focus attitude;
• Honest, integrity and confidentiality.
