Main Responsibility:

  • Lead and contribute to the growth of focus channels with culinary know how and expertise via solution selling.
  • Translate insights into product ideas and application related to country project/brief.
  • Assist marketing in developing and evaluate creative concepts and develop application with quality recipes, according to project brief.
  • Design the training material and run the training for new product training and application training to the team.
  • Audit and promote culinary technology practice in product development area.
  • Assist in formulation optimization and fine tuning to production scale.
  • Test developed products in application according to project brief.
  • Conduct evaluation sessions on developed product with chefs panel/internal costumers.
  • Setting standard and golden rules for new product development and apply formulation principles to influence quality, cost, convenience in products.
  • Execute within relevancy of raw material, costs, process, requirement, shelf life
  • Support and be a presenter in roadshow/events/activities that require chef demonstration.
  • Co-ordinate with internal team from CD, CD Ops, R&D, CD Capability, Marketing and related functions in order to ensure smooth and efficient operations to support the business growth plan.
  • Responsible developing and implementing a training program that empowers and stretches the team. This will incorporate chef skills, presentation, and commercial acumen skills.
  • Compliance with Unilever Code of Business Principles and Safety Standard.

Job Requirements:

  • Academic / Professional qualification, 5-8 years of working experience in kitchen
  • Full member of local Culinary Association
  • Culinary expertise and creativity, passion for growth
  • Pro-active, Business orientated, focused and problem solver.
  • Basic knowledge of R&D, Marketing, and sales preferable
  • Good presentation, planning and organizing skills.
  • Able to work in multi-cultural environment.
  • Possess knowledge and experience in Foodservice industry.
  • National travel required.
  • Good command of spoken and written English
