Who You Are & What You’ll Do
The role, Associate Brand Manager is reporting to the Associate Brand Director/Senior Brand Manager in the U.S. This is a strategically important rolefor Personal Care and offers plenty of scope for independent thinking and ownership. You will be supporting all mix development for relevant innovations 2025+ for Walmart, Target, Amazon and other retailers and DTC platforms. To do this, you will bring a strong consumer, competitor and customer understanding of key business drivers, competitive trends, marketplace dynamics & consumer need gaps in the skin cleansing, skin care, health, wellness and beauty space, that lead to breakthrough, disruptive new product propositions and brand-led communications. We are looking for those that are passionate about mix development, premiumization, health, wellness and beauty, with an ability to not only keep up, but also make things happen in a fast paced environment. This is a high visibility role, with plenty of opportunities to show case your work to leadership. 

The Role Specifics:

  • Co-develop a 2025+ premium and super premium innovation roadmap and 12Q plans

  • Capitalizing not only on trends but also explore other strategic opportunities to bring more meaning into the consumers lives

  • Collaborate and in some cases even lead various aspects of the 6P’s, this is a true build from the scratch innovation role, where you will be touching proposition, product, pack, place, promotions and pricing strategies

  • Develop innovations Personal Care, always being consumer first and creating what’s right for the consumer

  • Work closely with various cross functional teams, like CS&P, R&D, SC, Finance, Creative designers, content creators and other freelancers

  • Focus on the U.S. and develop great relationships with sales and field teams

What You’ll Need To Succeed

  • 3+ years of experience in Brand Marketing is essential with experience in an Innovation role a plus!

  • Previous experience and/or good understanding of beauty, health, wellness, cleansing & skin care category is very important

  • Growth mindset, with track record of solid demonstration of successful business results

  • Advanced project-management and strategic thinking skills.

  • Innovation and communication development experience (writing insightful briefs and concepts, developing business cases etc.)

  • Has some experience incubating brands and/or products, experimenting and test and learn with a founder mindset

  • Experience briefing and collaborating closing with design and communication agencies

  • Demonstrated ability to understand differences between retailers in the U.S.

  • Entrepreneurial mindset and out-of-the-box thinking – not taking things for granted and challenging the status quo when it gets in the way, applying critical thinking and creativity to problem solving.

  • Ability to lead large cross functional teams while working with and influencing multiple stakeholders.

  • Display of excellent influencing and communication skills towards stakeholders and leadership teams.

  • An independent worker and self-starter always striving to go the extra mile to deliver excellent performance.

  • Strong interpersonal skills, motivated to work in harmony with the team by showing a good “what-how” balance in delivering successful results.

  • Passion for growth and high performance – putting great care and rigor into what we do, being accountable for and taking pride of our work.

Pay: The pay range for this position is $84,400 to $126,600. Unilever takes into consideration a wide range of factors that are utilized in making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, qualifications and education, and other business and organizational needs.

Bonus: This position is bonus eligible.

Long-Term Incentive (LTI): This position is LTI eligible.
