Main Job Purpose:
The SUIT Engineer will functionas supportfor the change management role on projects, ensuring all inputs are available and SC is geared up for deployment including new innovations, VIP, product transfers, rollouts, recipe changes and line extensions with an agreed time plan.
He/She will also apply extensively the full range of Focused Improvement/Quality and EEM pillar methods and tools to counter losses identified in the areas of Safety, Quality, Cost Deployment, Customer Service and Logistics and optimize the cost for projects.
SUIT Engineer will also support the validation of all process improvements and the establishment of revised basic conditions on the line. A core deliverable is to eliminate losses and wastes & increase the stability of the line to support the transition of traditional line teams to semi-autonomous teams.
Requirements:
Engineering (preferably Mechanical or Electrical) degree educated or equivalent experience and digital savvy.
Good Knowledge of Process and Technology / Equipment associated with an FMCG company.
Has specific skills in AUTOCAD / Solid works – which can help in the equipment re-layouts and technical design discussions.
Basic know-how on TPM, WCM, Six Sigma and UMS equivalent
Able to prepare machine/ process stream specifications and machinery project management networks.
Good understanding of the materials conversion processes.
Prior food manufacturing experience and has in-depth knowledge on process and filling technology.
