WHAT WILL YOUR MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES BE:

As a Credit Controller, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and executing the credit control strategy while ensuring a healthy debt position andmaintainingoptimal overdue levels. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Credit Governance & Policy Compliance:

  • Ensure compliance with the Global Process Model and Global Credit Policy.

  • Oversee credit limit governance, including setting, reviewing, and approving credit limits in line with the local Credit Policy and the Table of Authority (TOA).

  • Acting as the first level in ToA in the daily process of approving blocked orders due to payment checks (credit limit excess & overdue)

  • Manage credit insurance processes, including policy maintenance, reporting, and settlements.

  • Operational Oversight:

  • Supervise OTIF delivery of tasks by Genpact partners.

  • Monitor and support the dunning process, overdue analysis, and reporting.

  • Stakeholders Collaboration:

  • Act as the key liaison between Customer Development, Finance, Legal, and Genpact teams on all credit control and overdue-related matters.

  • Provide insights and reports to CD, GM, and Head of Finance on overdue performance and credit risk.

  • Ownership of Genpact performance management within credit control & cash collection activities 

  • Internal & external audit:

  • Support internal and external audits by providing required documentation and data.

  • Technology & Transformation:

  • Support the deployment and adoption of the HRC Credit Release Module and other digital tools.

  • Participate in governance calls and contribute to continuous process improvements.

WHAT YOU WILL NEED TO SUCCEED:

Experiences & Qualifications

  • At least 3-5 years of professional experience in credit control, finance operations, or customer operations.

  • Experience collaborating with shared services or outsourced partners is a plus

  • Familiarity with SAP, HighRadius, and credit insurance platforms (e.g., Atradius).

  • Understanding of audit processes and financial compliance requirements.

  • Languages: both Hungarian and English

Skills

  • Analytical Thinking: Strong ability to analyze credit data, customer balances, and overdue trends.

  • Communication: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to engage with cross-functional teams and external partners.

  • Decision-Making: Sound judgment in credit risk assessment and escalation handling.

  • Process Orientation: Detail-oriented with a firm grasp of credit control processes and governance.

  • Tech-Savvy: Comfortable working with digital tools and supporting technology rollouts.

  • Project Management: Ability to manage multiple priorities and contribute to transformation initiatives.
