Role Overview:

As part of the Procurement Technology and Transformation team, the Procurement Delivery Lead & Architect will be responsible for leading the delivery of intelligent procurement solutions and overseeing the technical and data/AI-driven architectural design of procurement platforms. This role involves close collaboration with product owners, vendor partners, and engineering teams to ensure the successful deployment of scalable, secure, and efficient systems that leverage cloud and AI technologies to meet evolving business goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • - Lead end-to-end delivery of procurement technology solutions, ensuring alignment with business requirements and timelines.

  • - Define and maintain the architectural blueprint for procurement platforms including the data and AI based solutions and integration with enterprise systems.

  • - Collaborate with product teams and vendors to translate business needs into technical specifications and delivery plans.

  • - Ensure adherence to best practices in cloud architecture, data security, and compliance across procurement solutions.

  • - Provide technical leadership and guidance to development teams on solution design, scalability, and performance optimization.

  • - Facilitate agile delivery processes, including sprint planning, backlog grooming, and release management.

  • - Monitor and report on delivery progress, risks, and mitigation strategies to stakeholders.

  • - Drive continuous improvement in delivery practices and architectural standards within the procurement domain.

  • - Support the evaluation and onboarding of new technologies and vendor solutions relevant to procurement transformation.

  • - Ensure seamless integration of procurement platforms with Azure services, including Azure SQL, Azure Storage, and Azure DevOps.

  • - Build scalable, resilient cloud infrastructure for AI using GCP and Azure tools.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • - 10+ years of experience in solution architecture and delivery leadership, preferably in procurement or supply chain domains.

  • - Strong understanding of procurement processes and enterprise procurement platforms.

  • - Proven experience in designing and delivering cloud-native solutions on Microsoft Azure.

  • - Expertise in Azure services including Azure OpenAI, Azure SQL, Azure Storage, Azure DevOps, and Azure Active Directory.

  • - Expertise in GCP services including Vertex AI, BigQuery, Cloud Storage, Cloud Functions, and Identity & Access Management (IAM).

  • - Experience with integration patterns, API management, and data flow across enterprise systems.

  • - Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.

  • - Ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage vendor relationships effectively.

  • - Familiarity with agile delivery methodologies and tools.

  • - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • - Self-starter with a proactive approach to driving delivery and architectural excellence.
