JOB PURPOSE:

Customer development is a core thrust of Ice Cream business. The customer development team is broadly split into General Trade and Modern Trade. Winning in General trade is crucial in sustaining top line and in ensuring competitiveness through growing market share nationally. This role is part of the General Trade team in one of 5 Regions and you will play a crucial role in accelerating growth in General Trade business.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Manages sales of Ice Cream within a defined geographical area.  Ensure consistent profitable growth, positive planning, deployment and management of sales personnel. 
  • Accurately forecasts annual, quarter, and month turnover, both primary and secondary sales for the assigned territory
  • Develops specific plans to ensure turnover growth in Ice Cream’s product portfolio
  • Coordinates proper distributors resources to ensure efficient and consistence sales results
  • Reviews progress of sales, execution score, direct coverage, and relevant project throughout the year
  • Works closely with DT Owner, DT Supervisor, DT Sales force, and closely work in the market.  Direct contact with shop owner and consumer.
  • Manages personnel and develop distributor’s salesman field competency and skill development. 
  • Ensure compliances of sales policies, practices and procedures.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Extensive 4-5 years field experience, solid traditional trade, distributor management, and open trade market understanding required. FMCG background is preferred.
  • Reside in or are originally from the southern region of Thailand
  • Good instinct & observation
  • Immediate problem-solving skills
  • Demonstrate professionalism, exercising due diligence in all responsibilities and tasks assigned.
  • Maintain a high level of accountability in ensuring strict compliance with regulations and policies.
  • Open to relocation to other regions as assigned, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability in meeting organizational needs.
