RESPONSIBILITIES:

In this exciting role, you will be working with the Senior Marketing Manager leading the global Social Media & Brand Experiences plans for Magnum Ice Cream globally. Social media plays an increasingly pivotal role in our brand strategy, and we are seeking a passionate digital brand builder with a knack for innovative thinking to elevate our Social and Brand Engagement plans and content to new heights, with a strong focus on branded content, social media, and influencer marketing.

The Social Media strategy across always-on and tentpole moments on key campaigns. This includes:

  • Overseeing the social media TOV and always-on content strategy, responsible for building an engaged fanbase (reaching 2M followers on TikTok in 2026) and making the Brand famous on Social channels by being a Brand that’s talked about (driving earned – reach, UGC).

  • The development and execution of the Global Ambassador strategy as well as of the Influencer/Creator marketing strategy and plans.

  • Crafting social and creator-first campaigns deeply rooted in regional/local and in ‘today’s’ pop culture, designed to captivate and entertain audiences while earning their attention.

Lead the day-to-day development of a strategy piece designed to shape our thinking around Passion Points, Partnerships, Sponsorships, and Events and its execution:

  • Designed to help us transition from a paid-interruption advertising model to an earned-attention one, you will be tasked with leading the day-to-day development and project management of the Magnum Ice Cream Passion Points & Partnership Global strategic framework. Your role will involve leveraging your strategic skills to envision the long-term (5+ years) impact of Partnerships (e.g., collaborations), Product Placement (e.g., TV shows, series, films), and Sponsorships (e.g., Festivals) for Magnum Ice Cream. You will develop an actionable framework, set for deployment from 2026 onwards.

  • Executing brand experiences and events from pop ups at festivals, to influencer brand trips to large scale celebrity events at Cannes Film Festival

ALL ABOUT YOU

  • Proven experience within a Marketing position – 3 to 5 years experience in marketing across either brand building or brand development or both.

  • Social Media and Pop Culture addict. You’ve got your finger on the pulse at all times!

  • A go-getter and a self-started. You’re hungry to drive impact, grow brands, and leave a strong legacy behind.

  • An entrepreneur at heart, an FMCG leader by experience. You’ve got ideas and are keen to see them come to life.

  • You know how to challenge the status -quo, asking probing ‘why’ questions, coming up with new routes to success.

  • Extensive experience in building social-first (IG/TikTok/YouTube) content strategies and activations driving impact on brand equity and on earned media.

  • Proven track record in crafting global or regional 360 comms and media campaigns with an understanding

  • Track record of delivering exceptional Creators and Ambassador programmes

  • Track record of working on breakthrough PR campaigns

  • Data savvy – everything we do is led by insights and data. You must be obsessed with it!

  • Exceptional project leadership management with experience leading agile teams in a fast-paced environment and managing multiple, competing priorities simultaneously.

  • Active listener - taking into account the perspective of others, activating the right plan based on holistic understanding of the business challenge and business needs.

  • Curious connector - ability to connect the dots across people, projects and partners, creating new opportunities for innovative collaboration that enables successful activation of digital brand strategies.

  • Commercially minded - able to identify opportunities and deliver business results through digital

  • Team-worker - proactive networking across a complex organizational hierarchy

  • Resilient and influential - thriving on challenge, bringing colleagues along on the journey

  • Strong communicator - Superior verbal and written communications skills with extreme attention to detail
