JOB PURPOSE

Unileveristheplacewhereyoucanbringyourpurposetolifewiththeworkthatyoudo– creatingabetterbusinessandabetterworld.TheProductionEngineerprovidesthe governancefunctionforaclusterofsemi-autonomousteams,deliveringmanagementand leadershipsupportforperformancemonitoring,overtimeallocation,workingpatternsand dispute resolution.

TheProductionEngineerretainsresponsibilityfortheTechnicalandBasicOperatorswithin thesemi-autonomousteam.Leadingimprovementprojectsforoperationalprocesses,

ProductionEngineershaveastrongunderstandingoftheend-to-endmanufacturing process.Thisincludesthemechanical/electricalprocessesandcontrols.She/hecan interprettechnicaldiagnostics,identifykeyissuesandprocessrisks.ProductionEngineers possess the leadership skills to act with speed and rigor.

She/heunderstandsthefactory’sfinancialsituationandIPprocessestodrivethesemi- autonomous team’s work to counter losses and eradicate waste.

Theyleadprojectworktosupportfactoryinitiatives.Skillsforproblemsolving,coaching andinnovatingarecentraltotherole.

The Production Engineers provides a common standard of communication and engagementacrossthefactory.Theyliaisecloselywiththecorefactoryfunctions, includingManufacturing,HR,QualityandSafetytoachievethis.

WHAT WILL YOUR MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES BE

Technical:

  • Effectiveproblem-solvingskillssupportedbydetailedknowledgeoftheendtoend manufacturing processes relevant to their operation and endorsed GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice).

  • KnowledgeofFMCGfactoryprocesses/operations.Preventativemaintenance schemes and condition monitoring.

  • HazardousAreaEquipmentandHazardsspecifictooperation.

Safety:

  • Utilizeappropriatesafetyandenvironmentalproceduresforpeople,processes, materials,productsandequipmenttoensureasafeworkingenvironmentforthe whole team.

  • Workplacehazardsidentification.

  • AccountableforEmergencyPreparedness(Developingofprocedure,Equipment inspection)

  • Reportingofinjuryincidents(AccidentInvestigation(RootCauseAnalysis), Implementing countermeasures C expansion o Accountable for the PTW system signoffasareaownersforthenon-routineactivitiesinsidethereareasoutside maintenanceteamscopewithsubjectivetotheriskleveltobedeterminewithsite LT and site procedures.

  • ReportingSafetyBehaviorObservationsCDeepComplianceauditsand implementing countermeasures.

  • LeadthedevelopmentofriskManagementbyanalyzingworkingareasandcreating action plan.

  • Documentation(Assessmentofneeds,Checking,Approval,TrainingC Implementation)

  • AccountableforProceduredevelopmentandupdateofLockOutTagOut, ExceptionsfromtheprocedureandUsageofservicekeyfordeactivating safeguards.

  • AccountableforSafetyKaizens

Leadership:

  • Promotethedevelopmentofahighlyeffectiveteamthroughtheestablishmentofa positiveteamclimatesupportedbyauthenticleadershipandclearcommunication.

Decision Making:

  • Makesgovernancedecisionsforthesemi-autonomousteamandadjudicateson unresolved team issues.

  • SetsthestrategyforContinuousImprovementandPreventativeMaintenancein her/hisareaguidedbylosstrendsanddirectionprovidedbytheManufacturing Manager.

Continuous Improvement:

  • ApplyrigorousCostDeploymentandtheZerolossconcepttoeliminatelosses.High skill level in Continuous Improvement that is aligned closely with LEAN methodologies.

Quality:

  • ApplycoreknowledgeofQualityskills;QualityMeasurement,Prioritization, Improvement,AssessmentandCertificationetc.tosustainQualitystandardsinthe factory operation.

PlanningandOrganizing:

  • Prepareworkplanswithinresourceconstraintsandreviewimplementationtodrive improvement.

WHATYOUNEEDTOSUCCEED

Experiences s Qualifications:

  • Bachelor'sdegreeinProduction/Industrial/MechanicalEngineering

  • 1 to 3yearsofexperienceinrelevantfields

  • FMCGproductionenvironmentbackgroundisamust

  • PreferablyhavingaknowledgeinWCM/TPMLeanmanufacturingmethodologies
